Team Conviva Spotlight: Women’s History Month Part 2

March 14, 2022

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we are spotlighting some of the amazing women that work at Conviva all month long. This week, Associate Project Manager, Shatavisha Chakravorty, shares why she chose Conviva, tips on life, and more.

Have you drawn professional inspiration from other women? Tell us about someone who has inspired you.

Most recently, it has been Sujata, who is my mentor at Conviva. She is firm on her professional ethics and has a solution to every problem. I admire her rationality and leadership and aspire to be like her someday.

How do you balance your career, personal life, and interests?

I think I am lucky in this aspect as prioritisation is something that comes to me naturally. I am extremely punctual and this helps me make the most of my day. Moreover, I have a great support system at home and chores at home aren’t gender specific, making it all the way easier for me to strike a balance.

What advice would you give your 25-year-old self?

Please break out from the comfort of a large MNC job—ASAP! There’s so much to see and learn in the professional world outside.

What was the best advice you ever received in life or in your career?

Be patient with yourself on your slow days. Learning from your mistakes is the only way forward.

How do you unwind after work?

By binging on the latest web series (preferably Indian), hogging on Chocosimo, or baking some cupcakes!

What is your favorite part of your job?

The human interaction! The fact that I get to form the bridge among so many talented people day in and day out makes me look forward to work.
