Seasoned executives bring 20 years of experience each in leading product marketing and customer success teams.
Conviva, the global leader in video stream optimization, today announced the addition of two key executives to elevate their executive team and expand Conviva’s burgeoning footprint. Conviva has named Ramin Farassat VP Product Marketing and Tim Kleffman as VP Customer Success. Each brings more than 20 years of experience in their respective field.
Farassat came most recently from RGB Networks where he was instrumental in the design and product definition for various multifunctional video streaming, advertisement insertion and delivery products—which have been deployed by the world’s largest video operators and serve IP video streams to millions of subscribers worldwide. He will manage the product planning, strategy and delivery of Conviva’s preemptive stream optimization solution, Precision Video. Further, he will leverage his tenure in the adaptive bitrate, video processing and video delivery solutions for product development and deployment at Conviva.
“I am delighted to have found this level of intellect, energy and innovation ,” said Farassat. “I have a dream position—leading the global product marketing efforts for Conviva.”
Kleffman, VP Customer Success, has extensive experience in managing customer success and engineering teams. He joins the Conviva team directly from LiveOps, where he served as VP of Global Professional Services and Customer Support. Conviva will build on Kleffman’s world-class managerial and customer support experience to scale its sales engineering, professional services, account management and customer support capabilities.
“This team is revolutionizing the video streaming category. Conviva’s full commitment to its partners in delivering optimal video quality is impressive,” explains Tim Kleffman. “My mission is to deliver outstanding services to each and every client, ranging from initial pre-sales contacts, through ongoing customer support, from loyalty and retention to fostering strategic, trusted long-term partnerships globally.”
“Both Ramin and Tim fill critical executive positions in our expanding leadership team, where the demand for experience and knowledge of our fast-pace, video streaming category is essential,” said Darren Feher, CEO of Conviva. “We are honored they have joined us and look forward with confidence to their achievements and contributions.”
