Conviva Social Insights, the world’s most comprehensive cross-platform social analytics solution for enterprise and streaming media companies, took home the award for “Best Social TV Technology Service or Application” during this year’s International Broadcasting Conference (IBC) in Amsterdam.
The award, presented by CSI Magazine, was open to any technology, service, solution or application that encouraged multitasking, second screening/simulscreening and other forms of viewing behavior, including those directly involving content on the main TV set itself.
“For today’s leading broadcasters and television programmers, it’s more important than ever to use data and insights from social video platforms to understand their audience, identify the content and storylines that resonate with them, and turn them into actively engaged fans” said Nick Cicero, Conviva VP of Strategy. “We’re honored to be recognized by CSI Magazine for the work we have done to innovate in the social TV data space.”
The endorsement highlights Conviva Social Insights’ ability to measure second by second live social videos in real time to fuel ongoing reporting and real time content optimization. Conviva Social Insights is also heavily used for cross platform social measurement and reporting for live TV events such as March Madness and The VMAs.
