Delmondo launches audience-based measurement tools for social video

NEW YORK, May 23, 2017 — Delmondo, the leading cross-platform social video analytics software company and an official Facebook Media Solutions Partner, today announced the release of new platform features to help publishers and advertisers better measure and target their videos across all social platforms and devices.

With the growth of brands, publishers and media companies distributing videos at scale and across a number of accounts, standard measurement metrics such as views provide only a limited picture of video performance. Delmondo’s new suite of solutions provides measurement and analytics in new ways, giving customers a full view into their digital video investments.

The new suite includes audience and video tags, used by customers to create pre-defined video content and audience segments surfacing aggregate insights for future targeting, media buying or creative development. New robust campaign reporting capabilities and report templates give customers the ability to build automated reports that support cross-portfolio viewership, identify most engaged audiences and measure investment in branded content.

Launching Today: 

  • Video Tags enable customers to apply an unlimited number of custom tags to their videos across all social platforms and track how the audiences are viewing.

  • A new report builder gives customers the ability to create up to seven different reporting templates, with more templates to be added each month.

  • Report templates include:

    • Tag and Tag Comparison Report: Build automated reports based on one or more content themes or audience segments to track the performance and consumption across a single brand or network of accounts (in a publisher’s case) Example: A media brand could track their tune-in and show-driven programming across an entire network of pages  and map that to TV tune-in data or other off-social metrics.
    • Audience Reports: Enables customers to create pre-defined audience segments for video, or discover top audiences consuming video and track how those audiences interact with content surfacing aggregate audience insights for future targeting, media buying or creative development. Example: A publisher could instantly measure all food vs. news tagged content across all the many pages they maintain, building network-wide audience insights and audience segments.

    • Branded Content Report: Enables publishers to create and share automated reports around their branded content, incorporating their costs to advertisers to create a holistic pricing standard and better measure investment in sponsored social video campaigns for advertisers. Custom ROI Calculators allow companies to include the cost of campaign and provide cross-platform media value for sponsored social video. Media companies can build network-wide CPV benchmarks for sponsored content, ultimately allowing publishers to charge more for their creative and audiences.

    • Live Report: We are the world’s first and only source for real-time Facebook Live Video data and have created the first TV-comparable metrics for live streaming digital video including the average-minute-audience metric with 100% authenticated viewer data.

In addition to new product launches, Delmondo is announcing a number of new hires and key additions to the team:

  • Justin Danko joins as Chief Revenue Officer to scale company business development, bringing a deep background in branded content, influencer marketing, and adtech having worked in senior roles at Viacom, Fullscreen, and Discovery Digital.
  • Jenny McCoy joins as Client Strategist to work with customers to surface valuable insights from the data they measure. Jenny worked with companies like MTV, IFC and Adaptly.
  • Eric Franchi joins as a company advisor. Franchi is a seasoned entrepreneur as the co-founder of Undertone, an angel investor and a digital advertising leader as a board director of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
